Seclusion a Short Walk Away

Tucked into the forest just south of Sand Harbor, Secret Cove rewards a short downhill walk from Highway 28 with clear, deep water, smooth rocks and a fraction of the crowds. It has long been one of Tahoe's clothing-optional beaches, so it draws a relaxed, no-frills crowd.

There are no facilities and no rentals —” bring water, sunscreen and a bag for your trash. The deeper water and rock ledges make it a favorite for confident swimmers and cliff jumpers.
